S&S Cycle has promoted Howard Kelly to communications manager.
Howard joined S&S in December 2004, after spending eight years as the editor of Hot Bike and Street Chopper magazines, two years on Hot Rod Bikes magazine and just over one year at Motorcyclist magazine. He started out as the customer support communications specialist, focused on the creation of S&S service manuals. Over time Kelly has gravitated to handling media and advertising, in addition to overseeing web and video production.
"When the opportunity to move to La Crosse and work for S&S came along I was very excited. I have used S&S parts on my bikes for as long as I have owned V-twins, and had visited the Viola facility countless times over the years," Kelly says. "It, as well as the S&S name, were iconic in my mind, and now having the opportunity to be part of the management team at a company that I believe in completely, is a true blessing."
"Howard Kelly has been instrumental in nearly all of our marketing endeavors the past several years," said S&S President Brett Smith. "His role in overseeing the logistics for our upcoming 50th Anniversary Celebration and his coordination of the recent S Emissions Summit, hosted here in La Crosse are prime examples of the value he offers S&S and our industry."
